- INTRODUCTION
As an applicant for positions at Atrium People AS or affiliated companies, you will submit an application, CV, and attachments with personal information. Our clients may occasionally use Atrium’s services, such as background checks, credit assessments, testing tools, and video interviews in the hiring process. In such cases, your personal information will also be involved.
Atrium People AS only collects personal information relevant to the current assignment and deletes irrelevant information. When your personal information is used in a hiring process, Atrium People AS commits to complying with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (EU Regulation 2016/679), and in accordance with Norwegian Law.
The basis for collecting your personal information is «legitimate interest.»
By applying for a position at Atrium People AS in connection with our recruitment and staffing assignments, you accept the privacy policy and consent to the collection, storage, use, and sharing of your personal information. You can withdraw your consent and request the deletion of your personal information by contacting Atrium People AS, Trollhaugmyra 15, 5353 Straume.

- TYPES OF PERSONAL INFORMATION WE MAY COLLECT
When you apply for a position at Atrium People AS, the relevant personal information includes:
- Contact information with name, address, phone numbers, and email addresses.
- Identity information, such as gender, date of birth, and nationality
- Application, CV, transcripts, certificates, background checks, credit assessments, test results, interview notes with you and your references
- Passport Information
- Information about your next of kin
- Communication history with you via email, phone, and social media
- Health information, including obtaining a health certificate required for certain professions and disabilities that are incompatible with the job.
- SOURCE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
Most of the information is provided by you in the application process, or we have requested it due to its relevance to the assignment. We may also obtain personal information from the references you have provided and other reference sources we gather. Additional personal information may be collected through our communication with you via email, our website, and other social/digital platforms.
- PURPOSE OF USING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
We use applicants’ personal information to conduct hiring assignments on behalf of our private and public clients, enabling them to make informed decisions about whom they want to proceed with and potentially hire.
Passport information is collected when necessary for the position being filled, for example, in countries where a visa and/or work permit is required.
Information about next of kin is collected when we urgently need to contact them. This may occur in situations where the position is on a ship/installation or in areas with limited communication possibilities.
Health information is only collected for physically demanding professions and other positions with health requirements, such as on ships/offshore installations.
- STORAGE OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
Your personal information is stored on our portal in Reachmee. You are automatically directed to this portal when you choose «Register CV» on our website. If asked for passport information, next of kin, and health information, this will also be recorded here. Personal information may also be stored on Atrium People’s cloud server, and only Atrium employees directly involved in recruitment or staffing assignments will have access to this personal information.
- RETENTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
Regarding the position you have applied for, we will only store your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it is processed, i.e., until the assignment received from the client is completed. Communication via email and other media, where relevant personal information of importance to the hiring process has been disclosed, will be treated accordingly.
Personal information that you have registered in Reachmee will remain as long as you wish. If any of the registered personal information needs to be changed or deleted, you can do so independently by logging into your portal. See point 8 for more details.
Applications submitted via Reachmee will be deleted no later than 36 months after the application deadline. Your registered personal information will not be affected by this; only the application for the specific position will be anonymized.
In cases where you are employed by Atrium People AS, information about transactions will be stored according to applicable laws, such as the Accounting Act.
Please note that you can enter your CV into a CV database for which Reachmee AS is the data controller, falling outside this privacy policy. The purpose of this database is to allow a job seeker to reuse their CV information in other hiring processes.
- INTERNATIONAL TRANSFER OF INFORMATION
Atrium People AS may collaborate with companies outside the EEA area in certain cases and may transfer information to them. We will ensure that your personal information is adequately protected. Adequate protection may involve ensuring that the recipient offers the same level of privacy and information security as us. You can request more information or receive a copy of our security measures to ensure that your personal information is transferred securely.
- HOW TO ACCESS, CORRECT, DELETE, OR COMPLAIN ABOUT PERSONAL INFORMATION
If you want to access or correct your personal information, you can contact us at any time. You can access Reachmee by logging in with your username and password. You can also request a copy of the information we have collected about you, stored outside of Reachmee.
You can ask us to delete the information we have collected from you. However, we are obligated to retain the information required to fulfill our agreement with you and our clients, as well as information necessary to comply with applicable laws and regulations or government requirements.
If you believe that we are not using or handling your personal information correctly, you can complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet). Before submitting such a complaint, we ask that you contact us, as we may consider providing you with the answers you need, thus addressing any misunderstandings that may arise.
- CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
This privacy policy may be updated from time to time. You will be notified of these changes when and where appropriate, and they may be published on our websites. All changes will only take effect after being duly communicated/published.
